Phil's Weller queller

AFTER a 20-year war of words with mod god PAUL WELLER, former Genesis frontman
PHIL COLLINS wants to make up over a beer.

The baldy drummer reckons if the pair got together they’d have loads in
common.
Young mod bods ... Weller and his kids

Haircuts wouldn’t be one of them.

Phil said he and Paul have disagreed over the years due to their different
political stances but believes they could bond over music.

He said at the Mojos: "I think he thinks I’m a Conservative and he
doesn’t like that.

"But if we sat down, one mod to another, I think we’d find we have been
influenced by the same people."
Collins a mod? I thought he was the warm-up act for a drumming gorilla.
Modfather Paul — who unlike Duffy got a grin from JOHNNY ROTTEN
when he hugged the Sex Pistol — took his kids LEAH and NAT to
the bash, where he won the Outstanding Contribution To Music gong.
Diamond geezers ... Miles Kane and Alex Turner with singer NeilTHE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS, meanwhile, made a beeline for NEIL DIAMOND,
who bagged the Classic Songwriter award.

The normally publicity shy ALEX TURNER and MILES KANE — who won
the Best Breakthrough Act award — were all too happy to pose for pictures
with the legend.
